That is why in spite of the COVID-19 restrictions in Thailand, France and all around the world, Institut Français will keep sharing musical films online for free, while we wait for physical events to be possible again. Organised for the first time in France in 1982, Fête de la musique is an event of international scale today, in which over 120 countries across the world take part. It was invented by the French Government in 1981 and imagined as a big and popular event which allows all musicians either amateur or professional to express themselves and displays music everywhere. It is conceived as a "revolution" in the field of the music, which tends to make meet all kinds without hierarchy.
