As part of the French Cinema Season organized by the Embassy of France in Thailand with the support of over 16 cinemas over Thailand, and in partnership with HAL Distribution, the Céline Sciamma Retrospective will present 4 movies by the screenwright in 4 spaces, from the 6th to the 12th of January 2022. 

Water Lilies (2007), Tomboy (2011), Girlhood (2015), My Life as a Zucchini (screenwriter) (2016), Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019) will be shown in Bangkok and Chiang Mai in House Samyan, SF cinema, Major, and Doc Club & Pub, for over 10 screenings in total. Films are available with English and Thai subtitles. 

A Discussion on LGBTQ+ representation in films with Thai filmmakers will take place following the screening of The Portrait of a Lady on Fire in House Samyan on January 6, 2022 at 7pm. These screenings will take place prior the national release of her latest film in Thailand: Petite Maman which will be on available on the dark screens on the 13th of January 2022. The film is distributed by HAL Distribution.
